The Irina Samodaeva Foundation A.C. has the honor to present the Piano Festival-Competition "Villahermosa" in its twentieth edition, celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Since 2004, the Irina Samodaeva Foundation A.C. and the Interarts Center "Odessa" (Mexico) have been organizing this Festival-Competition with the aim of discovering and promoting new musical talents.
Until 2019, the competition was held ONLINE, and the festival was held in person, with the participation of children and young musicians from around the world. Videos of ONLINE competition participants were openly projected on a large screen for the audience, along with concerts, roundtable discussions, and masterclasses featuring high-level professional musicians.
Due to current conditions, since 2020, the in-person festival transitioned to the Television Tabasqueña program "TVT En Vivo" with the purpose of providing winners and outstanding participants of the ONLINE Competition the opportunity to give a concert with a freely chosen program, lasting 50 minutes. Recognition is given for their participation in the event, and the recording of the concert program is provided.
Starting in 2023, we return to our original program:

- Festival:
- Only winners of the Grand Prix and First Prize (not all) will receive invitations for participation in one or more concerts in the State of Tabasco in the following year. This may vary depending on different factors.
- All winners and outstanding participants will receive an invitation to perform a concert on TVT, Televisión Tabasqueña.
- All participants will receive their diplomas or recognitions, as well as their teachers (if indicated in the registration).
