The Foundation “Irina Samodaeva” A.C. works in the capital of Tabasco state, Villahermosa city, during 23 years. The Association regularly holds festivals, concerts, creative meetings, master classes. The leading figures of music arts from Latin America and Europe take part in these events.
Most of the virtual contests exist in electronic way, but our Contest has very interesting detail: the judges from all around the world are checking the videos of the participants and exactly at the same time the public is watching those videos on the big screen. The organizing committee is watching the videos together with the public. In fact we can say that the Contest is the open one.
At the same time with the Contest we are holdong the Festival. The musicians are playing live and they almost don’t have any boarders with repertoire and no limits of their performance.
The organizing committee is listening all the participants of the Festival. They have to find new talents because of the both events, and The Association will support and help to all the winners and participants of the Festival.
Public is interested in the Contest and Festival, there are many publications in media about both events.
In 2017 we are holding International Piano Festival Competition for Children and Youth "Villahermosa" in 13th time and hope that it will be a great event in the cultural life of South of Mexico again.
